The DiaVox WinSeries Unified Messaging program connects your Voice Server, your telephone system and your computer workstations together via your Local Area Network (LAN) to manage your voice, E-mail, and fax messages.

Unified Messaging integrates with Microsoft Exchange or Internet E-mail servers via Outlook Inbox 95-98, 2000. It allows you to log on to any of the E-mail service providers configured for the workstation, retrieve all the E-mail, voicemail, and fax-mail messages into your workstation's Inbox where you can read, play, forward, or reply to the original sender and send new messages.

Unified Messaging Features

Visual Message

Visual Messaging gives users total control over all their messages by managing them on a PC via Outlook Inbox. It displays a list of messages on the screen that users can quickly scan for important information. They see who each message is from, the subject, if included, the date and time it was sent, the status (urgent or regular) of the message, and the length of the message.

Visual Fax

Visual Fax gives users the ability to view and manage their fax mail faxed into their voice mailbox through the E-mail Inbox interface. You can preview any fax messages you have received on the screen of your networked PC and edit it using regular word processing software. Simple mouse-driven controls let you scroll through the document and highlight key information. Then, a user may choose to send faxed documents to a printer connected to a network or directly to a fax machine.

Visual Call

Visual Call gives the user the capability of screening their calls via the auto attendant. For systems with caller ID, Visual Call will capture a caller's information from the user's database. Without caller ID, the caller will be prompted to either speak their name or enter their telephone number. The user will then get a pop up box on their desktop that will either display the caller's telephone number or play their recorded name. The user can then accept the call, reject the call or send the call to the operator.
