The DiaVox Voice Mail System (VMS)
is a voice processing system that combines the capabilities
of advanced voice messaging systems with state-of-the-art
automated attendant. Each user has one or more electronic
mailboxes that store the voice messages. At any time, and
from any location in the world users are able to access their
mailbox and retrieve messages. The system simply instructs
callers and users with easy to understand voice prompts and
single digit commands.
Designed to work with your current PABX or
as a stand-alone voice messaging system, UMS delivers increased
functionality over traditional PABXs for less money. It is
integrated to a PBX or EKS system and acts as an automated
switchboard operator/receptionist, thereby eliminating the
need for a full-time operator. While users are on their phones,
incoming callers are given the option of holding, transferring
to another extension, or leaving a message in the user's mailbox.
The DiaVox Unified Messaging System will automatically handle
each user's incoming calls in a manner that best suits their
individual business needs.

DiaVox Voice Mail System connects
the Voice Server, telephone system and computer workstations
together via Local Area Network (LAN) to manage voice, E-mail,
and fax messages. The program integrates with Microsoft Exchange
or Internet E-mail servers via Outlook Inbox 95-98, 2000.
It allows you to log on to any of the E-mail service providers
configured for the workstation, retrieve all the E-mail, voicemail,
and fax-mail messages into your workstation's Inbox where
you can read, play, forward, or reply to the original sender
and send new messages.
Using the DiaVox Voice Mail System
in a corporate office will reduce paper work and provide management
with a valuable tool for monitoring day-to-day activities.
